Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position, Fisher is responsible for covering everything including NASA's new Space Force to commercial space businesses and the advent space tourism. Being the child and the mother of two NASA astronauts, Kristin was raised in the industry of space. She spent the last five years covering the Trump and Biden Space Policy of the Administration as a White House Correspondent for FOX News. While covering the two impeachment proceedings against the president, 2020's Presidential Campaign, and both administrations attempts to limit the outbreak of coronavirus Kristin also covered a variety of other subjects. The president of the time Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan on a highly-restricted trip. Kristin worked her way through the local news markets of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C. for nearly a decade before becoming a part of the CBS network. Kristin was the recipient of one Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. for her work as the CBS affiliate's single-man reporter. Kristin made use of her experiences behind the lens to start Field Mouse Films. The company specialized in producing documentary-style films and was a favorite of corporate clients like Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism that she received from Boston University. She lives with her husband at Washington, D.C., and she has a 3 year old daughter.
